This is a 12-month maternity leave cover, working 5 days per week, 6 hours per day – ideal for someone looking to balance work and life without compromising on a quality role.
The Role
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you'll be a key player in the day-to-day running of the receivables function. Your duties will include, but won’t be limited to:
- Managing the accounts inbox
- Processing customer payments and allocations
- Assisting with month-end banking
- Supporting the sales team to ensure timely order processing and release
- Responding to internal and external customer enquiries
- Preparing and sending customer statements
- Handling collection calls and follow-up emails
- Processing credit notes
- Reconciling aged accounts and following up on outstanding debt
The Candidate
You’ll be someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys a hands-on role. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or credit
- A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Confidence to pick up the phone and build rapport
- A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to help out where needed
- Strong organisational and communication skills
