Are you a qualified veterinarian looking for something beyond the clinic walls?
This is a rare opportunity to build a meaningful, flexible career in veterinary leadership, practice support, and product strategy — all while working from home, in the field, and occasionally on the road.
What’s the Role?
We’re looking for a Veterinary Clinical Advisor – Procurement & Practice Support to work closely with clinics across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll help shape clinical standards, guide product decisions via our approved Buy Book, and be the go-to voice between procurement and veterinary teams.
This is a Monday-to-Friday role with a high level of trust and autonomy. You’ll manage your own time, be out in the field, connect directly with veterinary teams, and have input into both clinical and commercial outcomes. You won’t just follow a script — you’ll help write it.
You’ll join a small, growing team and play a key role in shaping how this position evolves.
Key Things You’ll Do
- Provide in-clinic and remote clinical support to improve care outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Guide clinic teams on the best use of approved veterinary products (Buy Book), tools, and treatments.
- Build strong relationships with veterinarians — mentoring, supporting, and elevating standards.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure clinical needs align with product choices and supplier strategy.
- Identify talent, support career development, and foster professional communities within the network.
- Contribute to pricing, service offerings, and clinical workflow improvements.
- Travel interstate or to NZ as needed — but not weekly.
- Veterinary degree (registration in Australia not required).
- At least 3 years of hands-on veterinary experience — leadership or mentoring experience a plus.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of clinic operations.
- A collaborative, curious mindset — you enjoy problem-solving and working with people.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and deliver outcomes without handholding.
- Comfortable with light travel — you’ll be on the road here and there but not living out of a suitcase.
- Work anywhere – Sydney-based but mostly from home or in the field, occasionally needed as HQ in Macquarie park
- Real autonomy – Design your day, your week, your workflow.
- Impact at scale – Help shape how care is delivered across a national (and NZ) network.
- No shift work, no weekends, no micromanaging – Just purposeful, flexible work.
- Supportive leadership – Backed by a team that trusts you and wants you to grow.
- Dynamic environment – A new role you can shape as it evolves.
