About the Role Seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations in a busy distribution and coatings facility. Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound goods, stock control, safety, and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, and dispatch
- Lead and support the warehouse team to meet daily KPIs and ensure high standards of customer service
- Manage stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and effective inventory practices
- Enforce OH&S policies and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Coach team members, schedule workloads, and rotate tasks for optimal efficiency
- Monitor and report discrepancies, non-conforming products, and quality issues
- Maintain equipment and warehouse assets in excellent condition
- Support cross-functional collaboration with internal sales and branch teams
- Take ownership of upholding top-tier product and service quality within the Warehouse to consistently meet customer expectations
- Play an active role in fostering a supportive, positive, and engaging team atmosphere
- Proven experience supervising large warehouse or distribution teams
- Strong knowledge of stock control, barcoding, and inventory systems/ supply chains
- Forklift licence and a strong safety mindset
- The ability to lead by example and build a high-performing team culture
- Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse systems (e.g., SCALE)
- Experience working on or supervising a paintline, with knowledge of coating processes, quality checks, and production flow
- Cert III or IV in Warehousing Operations
- First Aid, Manual Handling, or Load Restraint training
- Experience with handheld scanners and location-based inventory systems
- A background in coatings (anodising or powder coating) – highly desirable
