The Position:
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic setting and is eager to support ongoing financial performance and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage end-of-month processes, including journals, reconciliations, and closing activities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, providing clear analysis and insights to support business decisions
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
- Monitor cash flow and support financial planning to ensure strong financial health
- Ensure compliance with all tax obligations including BAS, GST, and FBT reporting
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit preparation and review
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant who brings energy, initiative, and a strong commercial mindset. You’ll play a key role in driving financial operations, uncovering opportunities for improvement, and contributing to smarter business decisions.
- CPA/CA qualification
- Experience in wholesale, FMCG, or manufacturing environments highly regarded
- Proven ability to work with high transaction volumes in fast-paced, commercially complex settings
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong business partnering skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering actionable financial insights
- Comfortable navigating complexity and contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency
- $140K + Super
