Our client, a leading APAC business with a global footprint, is seeking a Talent Specialist for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to drive high-volume recruitment, build strong talent pipelines, and support workforce growth through strategic, hands-on hiring.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager – Operations, this role is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for high-volume, blue-collar roles across multiple sites. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing sourcing strategies to meet business demand, especially during peak periods
- Collaborating with hiring managers to build tailored job briefs and effective job advertisements
- Proactively building candidate pipelines through job boards, referrals, community networks, and creative sourcing methods
- Coordinating and facilitating structured interviews and assessment centres
- Advising hiring managers on candidate selection through data-driven insights and best-practice assessment methods
- Maintaining accurate and compliant recruitment records and reporting regularly on key hiring metrics
- The role also involves working closely with local community organisations, training providers, and workforce programs to expand sourcing channels and meet operational hiring needs.
The Candidate
You’ll bring strong experience in high-volume recruitment and a collaborative, hands-on approach. We’re looking for someone with:
- A background in recruiting for blue-collar or operational roles (ideally in manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or similar)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to influence and advise hiring leaders
- The ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
- A continuous improvement mindset and the initiative to test new sourcing methods
- Familiarity with recruitment systems and tools – experience with SAP SuccessFactors is advantageous
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Experience working with workforce programs or community-based talent pipelines will be highly regarded.
