This is a standalone position on a 6-month temporary period starting in early May, offering the chance to step into a busy, supportive environment where you can make an immediate impact.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a friendly team environment, you’ll take ownership of a high-volume Accounts Receivable function.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing a ledger of approximately 1,000 small and major accounts
- Daily bank reconciliations and cash allocations
- Managing debtor accounts and collections via email and phone
- Resolving customer queries with professionalism and efficiency
- Setting up new accounts and maintaining accurate records
- Processing credits and managing order holds/releases
- Supporting banking activities and general AR tasks
- Assisting with ad hoc finance duties as required
The Skills:
You’re an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys taking ownership of your ledger and keeping things running smoothly. You’re confident speaking with customers, know how to manage difficult conversations around outstanding payments, and pride yourself on delivering accurate, timely work.
You’re someone who can step into a new environment, pick things up quickly, and contribute from day one. You can quickly adapt to new environments, manage your workload independently or as part of a team, and bring SAP (or similar ERP) experience along with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
