A world-renowned kitchen and cooking brand is about to open its first-ever Australian flagship store – and we're looking for a hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help bring this global name to life in Sydney.
This is more than your average assistant role. You’ll be working side-by-side with an experienced Store Manager to shape the store’s success from day one – delivering a top-tier customer experience, supporting team development, and helping the store hit its goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the Store Manager in launching a brand-new store in a high-profile location
- Lead by example on the shop floor, providing exceptional service and product knowledge
- Motivate and guide the team to deliver strong results and create a positive, energetic store culture
- Help manage day-to-day operations – from visual merchandising to inventory and sales tracking
- Act as a go-to for customers and staff, making sure every shift runs smoothly
- Be a brand ambassador – sharing the innovation and quality behind the product range
- Contribute to promotional events, activations, and store presentation standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Senior Sales Assistant, 2IC, or Assistant Manager in a premium or branded retail environment
- A natural motivator who leads from the front and thrives in a team-first culture
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical products in a simple, relatable way
- Results-driven, with an understanding of sales targets, KPIs, and visual merchandising
- Passionate about retail, customer experience, and ideally – food, kitchen innovation, or lifestyle brands
- Experience with store launches, pop-ups, or brand activations is a bonus
