We're partnering with a well-established, purpose-driven organisation that supports thousands of members across Australia. They're looking for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Coordinator to join their collaborative team and play a key role in growing community participation and supporting local clubs.
This is an exciting and varied opportunity where you'll combine stakeholder engagement, community development, customer service, event coordination and administration. About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting the growth and success of community clubs across NSW. Working closely with members, volunteers and internal teams, you'll help strengthen existing communities while assisting in the establishment of new clubs.
No two days are quite the same. One day you could be coordinating a club launch, the next presenting membership initiatives, supporting volunteers, planning community engagement activities or helping improve internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with members, volunteers and key stakeholders
  • Support the establishment of new community clubs from planning through to launch
  • Develop and coordinate membership growth and community engagement initiatives
  • Coordinate community meetings, information sessions and events
  • Deliver presentations and information sessions to community groups and stakeholders
  • Respond to member enquiries and provide outstanding customer service via phone and email
  • Maintain accurate membership records and CRM databases
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and supporting documentation
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure a seamless member experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve member engagement and internal processes
  • Travel occasionally throughout NSW to support clubs and community activities
About You
You'll be an engaging and organised professional who genuinely enjoys working with people and building positive relationships.
You'll also bring:
  • Previous experience in customer service, stakeholder engagement, membership services, community engagement, administration or a similar role
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence presenting to small groups and facilitating meetings
  • Strong organisational and project coordination abilities
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM or membership management systems
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service
