They are now seeking a confident and motivated Credit Officer experienced in managing both small and major accounts.
The Position
This standalone role requires a dynamic individual with comprehensive experience in managing the full credit function, with a strong emphasis on major accounts. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Daily bank allocations and reconciliations using Xero
- Ledger management, overseeing a ledger of 500 active accounts with a mix of small & major accounts
- Collections, conducting email and outbound collection calls to collect of outstanding debts
- Setting up new accounts
- Customer support and resolving customer queries and re-sending invoices
- Placing orders on hold and releasing as needed
- Payment processing, handling payments, claims, rebates and credits notes
- Assist with ad hoc duties
- Knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work in the office 5 days per week
- Strong relationship skills with the ability to influence customers
- Experience and or confidence managing a standalone position
- Experience managing major accounts including claims, rebates and credit notes
- $80,000 - $85,000 plus super
