The Role
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you’ll step into a full function Credit Control role, managing a ledger of around 700 accounts worth $5 million. You’ll work closely with branches and customers alike, playing a vital role in keeping accounts on track and ensuring timely payments.  Your day-to-day will include:
  • Making approximately 30+ outbound collection calls per day
  • Running statements and mid-month reminder letters
  • Managing cash allocations and account reconciliations
  • Performing credit checks for new customers
  • Handling and resolving customer queries in partnership with branch staff
  • Processing invoices, receipts, payments and raising credit notes
  • Assisting with ad hoc admin tasks to support the credit team

The Candidate
You’ll thrive here if you enjoy taking ownership of your ledger and building strong working relationships. Ideally you’ll have:
  • Proven experience in full function Credit Control, confidently managing your own accounts from collections through to reconciliations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-first approach
  • A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability
  • Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables etc)
