The Company
A global industrial manufacturing business with clear and aggressive growth plans has a newly appointed CFO, following an ownership change that is fuelling the next phase of growth. They are now looking for a technically astute Finance Manager with a commercial mindset to bring the finance function into top shape.
The Role
This is a standalone role, so you will own the numbers end to end:
- Month-end close, statutory and management reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Compliance and audit liaison
- Building rigour, discipline, and controls
- Liaising with banks, insurers, and other external partners
It is broad, hands-on and highly visible. It is also a rare chance to shape something. You are not inheriting a rigid structure. You are helping set the standard, tighten the processes, and lift the quality of the numbers the wider business relies on. For the right person, that autonomy is the whole appeal.
The Candidate
You might already be a Finance Manager. You might be a Senior Financial Accountant ready to step up and run a function on your own. Either way, you will bring:
- A Big 4 background
- Solid time since in commerce or industry, so you know how the numbers translate to a real business
- Confidence operating in a standalone role and comfort being hands-on
- A genuine business partnering instinct, not just a reporting one
- Industrial, manufacturing, or similar exposure is a plus
