Offering stability, growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of a high-performing finance team, this is an opportunity to take your career to the next level.  As the Financial Accountant, you will step into a broad and hands-on role that is critical to supporting business operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate financial outcomes across multiple entities.

The Position:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Lead month-end processes including variance analysis, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
  • Take ownership of the P&L, partnering with department leaders to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
  • Oversee invoice processing and accounts management.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT, and other statutory obligations.
  • Prepare statutory financial reports and act as the key contact for external auditors.
  • Manage corporate income tax returns in collaboration with external tax consultants.
  • Oversee payroll, superannuation, intercompany reconciliations, and fixed asset register maintenance.
  • Supervise and mentor the Assistant Accountant to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Support project reconciliations, SG&A forecasting, treasury activities, and ad hoc finance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with international finance teams and key business stakeholders.
The Candidate:

You’ll bring a strong technical foundation and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. To succeed in this role, you will have;
  • Ability to work in the office 5 days per week
  • CPA or CA qualification (or working towards)
  • Demonstrated experience preparing BAS, FBT, statutory reports
  • Solid month-end reporting and compliance experience
  • Strong Excel and systems skills, with a keen eye for process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with stakeholders across regions
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
