Finance plays a key role in enabling this growth, working closely with manufacturing teams to support operational performance, strengthen financial control, and deliver insights that drive better decisions across the business.
This role sits within the Manufacturing / Operations finance function, focused on accurate reporting, manufacturing analysis, and control across assets, inventory, and production performance. You’ll work closely with operational teams on the ground, turning day-to-day activity into meaningful financial insight
The Responsibilities:
- Complete month-end close processes in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with a focus on manufacturing operations
- Support the delivery of monthly management reporting packs, providing clarity on manufacturing performance
- Ensure CAPEX and fixed asset reporting is accurate, well-controlled, and compliant with approval processes
- Analyse manufacturing costs and production variances, identifying trends and issues for investigation
- Support reporting and monitoring of slow-moving and obsolete inventory to improve stock efficiency and reduce risk
- Assist with standard costing updates during the year, as well as budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Maintain and support ERP system data integrity, including involvement in system upgrades and improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows, data quality, and operational insights for the Industrial Operations team
You are a curious and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys understanding how numbers connect to real operational activity. You will bring:
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance (CA/CPA studies in progress preferred)
- Strong technical accounting foundation
- Good understanding of manufacturing or operational environments (highly desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working with ERP systems and large data sets
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes
- A collaborative, hands-on approach with strong communication skills
- Exposure to a complex manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience across reporting, analysis, and systems
