The Company
This is an exciting 12 month permanent contract opportunity for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join a thriving industrial services business based in Sydney's West. This role will have a heavy focus on optimising capabilities and enhanced reporting for the FP&A function. This is a 5-days on-site position.
The Role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will provide clear reporting and insights on business performance, process improvements, and play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of month-end analysis and reporting on financial performance and key performance drivers of the business, including investigation and follow-up of material variances.
- KPI trend analysis.
- Preparing budgets and forecasts in alignment with business objectives.
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
- Assist with developing presentations and reporting packages.
- Automating and improving existing reporting processes and systems.
- Assist with process improvements and system enhancement.
- Partner with the finance team and wider business to provide strong insights and recommendations for better strategic decision-making.
- Prepare periodic pricing adjustments required for commercial and domestic customers.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Ability to work on-site and be available to start immediately
- Previous experience working in a fast paced and evolving work environment
- 4-5+ years of experience in a similar FP&A position.
- Strong multi-site and multi-product experience.
- Exposure to multiple ERP systems and Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
