A great opportunity to take ownership of HR at a brand-new manufacturing facility and help shape the culture and employee experience from the ground up.
We’re partnering with a well-established global food manufacturing business to appoint a hands-on HR Advisor for its new WA operation in Nambeelup.
Working three days per week, you’ll be the dedicated HR presence on site, supported by an experienced ANZ HR team and partnering closely with the Plant Manager and site leadership team.
Why this role?
The site will initially employ around 50 people, with plans to expand production lines, shifts and headcount as the operation grows.
You’ll have the opportunity to:

Reporting to the Head of HR ANZ, your remit will include:
- Employee relations and performance management
- Investigations and difficult conversations
- Coaching and supporting site leaders
- Employee engagement and culture initiatives
- Workers Compensation and Return to Work
- Award interpretation and employment advice
- Recruitment and onboarding
- HR administration and documentation
- Rolling out ANZ-wide HR projects and initiatives
- Supporting the introduction of SuccessFactors
You’ll be an experienced HR generalist who enjoys being close to the operation and is comfortable working autonomously.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or broad generalist experience
- Manufacturing, FMCG, food production or similar operational experience
- Exposure to blue-collar workforces
- Strong Employee Relations and performance management capability
- Experience with investigations and difficult conversations
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- A practical, hands-on approach
