The Company
Take the next step in your career and join this well-established, market-leading business operating within the manufacturing sector, with a strong national presence and a genuine commitment to quality and people.
With a sizeable workforce across multiple operational sites in Western Sydney, the business has built a knowledgeable, collaborative HR function that supports both its people and its broader commercial goals. This is an organisation where HR has a real seat at the table, and where the right person can make a genuine impact.

The Role

This is a true operational HR Business Partner role, where you'll be the primary HR contact on site, partnering directly with the Site GM and operational leadership team. You'll work autonomously across the full range of HR, ER and IR matters, while being well-supported by a broader HR team including WHS, L&D and Talent Acquisition.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for all site-based HR matters across a workforce of approximately 300 employees
  • Partnering with operational leaders to provide confident, pragmatic advice on ER and IR matters
  • Managing end-to-end investigations including misconduct, bullying, harassment and absenteeism
  • Coaching managers through complex people conversations and building leadership capability
  • Advising on Modern Award interpretation and ensuring compliant, consistent application
  • Supporting workforce planning, performance management, engagement and capability initiatives
  • Collaborating with the on-site WHS Advisor and contributing to a proactive safety culture
  • Contributing to broader HR projects
The Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner capacity, ideally within a manufacturing or a similarly fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong ER experience with the confidence to manage matters end-to-end
  • Solid understanding of Modern Award interpretation
  • Proven ability to coach and influence managers, including those resistant to HR advice
  • Comfort working autonomously and managing competing priorities in a high-volume environment
  • A practical, commercially minded approach
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
  Benefits
  • Salary $120,000 + super
  • Flexible start and finish times
  • Onsite parking
  • Product discount and team activities
  • Paid parental leave
  • Genuine opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to step into a true HRBP role
  • Supportive HR team
  • Career growth and development opportunities
This is a standout opportunity for a capable, confident HR professional who thrives in an operational environment and wants real autonomy, real relationships and real scope to grow.
