Step into a true HR Business Partner role | Chullora | Hybrid

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor ready to step into a Business Partner role, or an emerging HRBP looking to build their capability in a genuine partnering environment.
Working across a professional, white-collar workforce within a global business, you’ll build strong relationships with leaders and provide proactive, commercially focused HR support across workforce planning, talent, remuneration, performance and organisational capability.
This is not a transactional HR role. You’ll be encouraged to get close to the business, understand your client groups and help leaders navigate people priorities, challenges and change.

The Role

Reporting to the HR Director and working closely with an experienced team, you’ll support a portfolio of professional client groups while continuing to develop your capability across the full HR partnering cycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Building trusted relationships with managers and key stakeholders
  • Coaching and developing leaders to confidently manage their people
  • Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent discussions
  • Contributing to remuneration reviews and broader people planning
  • Supporting capability mapping, job families and competency frameworks
  • Providing practical advice across performance and general HR matters
  • Identifying people priorities and proactively working with leaders on solutions
  • Supporting organisational change and broader HR initiatives
  • Contributing to WHS and workers compensation matters where required
About You
You may currently be a Senior HR Advisor looking for your first HRBP opportunity, or an early-career HR Business Partner ready to broaden your experience.

You will ideally bring:
  • Solid generalist HR experience within a corporate or white-collar environment
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence coaching and influencing managers
  • A proactive approach and genuine interest in understanding the business
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound judgement calls
  • A resourceful and adaptable approach when priorities change
  • Curiosity and a genuine passion for learning and developing your HR career
  • WHS and workers compensation exposure would be advantageous
Why This Role?
You’ll join an open and collaborative HR environment where you’ll be encouraged to ask questions, challenge thinking and continue developing your commercial HR capability.

You’ll gain broad exposure across the people agenda while being supported by experienced HR leaders.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy being challenged and want to develop into a strong, well-rounded HR Business Partner, we’d love to hear from you.
