As the business continues to expand through both organic growth and acquisitions, they're looking for someone who is keen to broaden their accounting experience and play a hands-on role across a diverse group of businesses.
 
The Position:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role supports key finance functions across the group, ensuring accurate reporting, timely reconciliations and smooth day-to-day financial operations. You'll enjoy a varied role including:
  • Preparing monthly financial reports and supporting budgeting and forecasting
  • Completing balance sheet, bank and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Supporting month-end processes, audit preparation and statutory reporting
  • Assisting with cash flow, banking and financial analysis
  • Providing back-up support across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable when required
  • Working closely with interstate branches and the New Zealand finance team on a range of finance projects
 
The Candidate:
You'll enjoy this role if you're someone who likes variety, enjoys getting into the detail and is looking to step into a broader accounting position where you can continue developing your technical skills.
  • Ability to work in an office environment 5 days per week
  • Accounting degree
  • Strong attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • High level of initiative and willingness to learn
