This is a high-impact, commercially focused role where you will take ownership of a suite of established, globally recognised learning products —with the mandate to evolve, grow and future-proof the portfolio.
This is not a training delivery role.
This is about owning the product, not delivering the content.
About the Role
You will operate as the Product Manager for a portfolio of professional learning solutions, responsible for their strategy, lifecycle and commercial performance.
You’ll decide:
- What products the market needs
- How they are developed and positioned
- How they perform financially
- When to scale, enhance or retire them
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle (concept → development → launch → optimisation → retirement)
- Define and execute the portfolio strategy aligned to global and regional growth
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities
- Oversee the development of learning products across digital, virtual and face-to-face channels
- Drive commercial performance, including pricing, revenue and profitability
- Lead and develop a Product Development Manager
- Engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders including SMEs, compliance, operations and global teams
- Partner with marketing and sales to deliver strong go-to-market outcomes
- Ensure products align with industry standards, compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO, AQF)
- Maintain high standards of learning quality, instructional integrity and customer experience
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the portfolio
- Experience in product management, portfolio management, or commercially focused L&D roles
- Proven ability to manage products or services with revenue accountability (P&L exposure highly regarded)
- Strong commercial acumen—you understand performance, pricing and growth
- Experience within learning, training, education, or professional services environments
- Experience working within compliance, standards, governance or regulated environments (highly regarded)
- Understanding of learning design, e-learning or training frameworks (advantageous)
- Confident working across global, cross-functional stakeholder groups

- Corporate training, education or learning product businesses
- RTO, VET or higher education sectors—particularly in roles with product, portfolio or commercial accountability

- Not a trainer or facilitator role
- Not focused on delivering courses
- Not purely instructional design
