They are urgently seeking an experienced Long Service Leave (LSL) Analyst to support a key project on a 6-month permanent contract with the possibility of extension. This role suits someone who enjoys detailed, complex LSL reconciliation work and is confident working with a high level of independence.
The Role:
You will take ownership of an LSL remediation project covering multiple jurisdictions. Your focus will be on accurate reconciliation, applying correct averaging rules, reviewing historical data and ensuring compliance across several states. You’ll work largely independently, with support and engagement from the payroll team as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed LSL reconciliations across NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS and ACT
- Apply state-based LSL rules, formulas and averaging methods
- Analyse and interpret historical payroll data
- Provide accurate remediation calculations and recommendations
- Liaise with payroll and project stakeholders when required
- Ensure compliance with legislation and internal standards
The Candidate:
- Strong, hands-on experience in LSL remediation and reconciliation
- Demonstrated knowledge of LSL rules across multiple states
- TAPS or Payroll Association Certification (mandatory)
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Confident working independently while contributing to the broader team
- Positive, proactive approach with the ability to hit the ground running
The Benefits:
- $125,000 – $135,000 + super (on our books)
