Secure, Hands-On Technical Role – No Shift Work A well-established Australian manufacturer in Blacktown is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to take ownership of its liquid filling production line.
The business produces specialised surface treatment products supplied across Australia and exported to 25+ countries. With continued growth and investment in automation, this is a stable, long-term opportunity within a well-run operation.
This is not a repetitive factory role.
It’s a hands-on technical position for someone who understands machinery and takes responsibility for performance, uptime and quality.
The Role Operate, maintain and troubleshoot a pneumatic liquid filling line and associated equipment.
This role is approximately 70–80% hands-on and suited to someone confident adjusting, maintaining and optimising machinery.
Key focus areas:
- Keep machinery running efficiently and safely
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Maintain consistent production quality
- Set up and adjust machinery for production runs
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance
- Diagnose faults and coordinate external technicians if required
- Operate forklift and reach truck
- Assist with deliveries, stocktakes and general warehouse duties
You will have:
- Experience operating liquid filling machinery (essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Manufacturing or packaging experience
- Current forklift licence with practical experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Proactive problem-solving ability
- Valid driver’s licence
