National Sales Manager

circa $150,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Bonus

We’re partnering with a globally recognised player in the animal pharmaceutical space, supporting professionals who care for animals—and the many industries that rely on them.
They’re now looking for a National Sales Manager to lead from the front—bringing structure, energy, and commercial focus to a well-established, evolving sales function. This role reports directly into the executive team, with high visibility and influence across the business.
What you’ll own
This is a leadership role with national scope and real influence.
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed sales team
- Set and execute a clear national growth strategy
- Drive performance across diverse and evolving customer channels
- Strengthen key relationships with national retailers, clinics, distributors, and industry stakeholders
- Build discipline, cadence, and accountability across the sales function
- Partner with regional and global leadership to align strategy and execution
You’re a genuine leader—someone who lifts standards and brings people with you.
- Tertiary qualification in Science, Marketing, or Business(preferred)
- 7–10+ years’ relevant leadership experience, including at least 3 years managing a sales team
- Exposure to animal health, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, or a related sector welcomed
- Experience operating across multiple industry markets highly regarded
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and improving team performance
- Strong strategic agility—able to pivot commercial direction in response to market shifts
- Results-driven, with a clear focus on execution and delivery
- Highly effective communicator, able to influence at all levels
- Builds strong relationships and fosters open, productive dialogue
- Commercially sharp, able to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Confident working within a global, matrixed environment
