Operations Supervisor Wetherill Park, Sydney | Full-Time | $100–110k + Vehicle + Super

The Opportunity: If you're a people-first leader with a background in waste, transport or logistics and you know how to keep teams running safely, smoothly and on schedule this is a chance to step into a fast-paced supervisory role with plenty of variety and responsibility.

This is a hands-on position based out of Wetherill Park, where you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial waste collection services across Greater Sydney. You'll be supervising drivers, coordinating resources, and keeping everything running efficiently and safely from the yard to the road.
This role is ideal for someone ready to step up, take ownership, and make a real impact on frontline service delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Overseeing daily waste collection services, from driver allocations to route performance
  • Supporting and supervising field staff to ensure safety, compliance, and service excellence
  • Monitoring labour usage, fleet activity, and operational costs to meet targets
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise and providing calm, solutions-focused leadership
  • Keeping the depot safe, clean and compliant at all times
  • Leading toolbox talks and engaging with your team on safety, performance and improvement
  • Coordinating closely with internal teams and customers to meet expectations and KPIs
  • Supporting reporting, admin and systems including payroll, debriefs, and pre-starts
What You’ll Bring:
  • Strong experience supervising teams in a waste, transport or logistics environment
  • A current HR licence and willingness to step in when needed
  • Solid understanding of WHS and NHVR requirements
  • Confidence handling people matters, from team direction to incident follow-ups
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commercial waste experience (ideal, but not essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working across systems
  • A practical, down-to-earth attitude and the ability to get things done without fuss
Why You’ll Want This Role:
  • Be part of a stable, growing business delivering essential services every day
  • Take on a leadership role with autonomy, trust and support
  • Enjoy the variety of working both in the depot and out in the field
  • Competitive salary + company vehicle + a great crew to work with
  • Opportunities to grow and step up within a national business
This is a role for someone who enjoys fast-paced days, keeping people safe, and making sure everything runs like clockwork. If that sounds like you let’s talk.
