The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing in a high-volume environment. This is a fast-paced role requiring confidence, accuracy, and the ability to hit the ground running.
Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
  • End-to-end payroll processing across fortnightly and monthly cycles
  • Managing high-volume payroll with accuracy and efficiency
  • Manual calculations including terminations, adjustments, and back pays
  • Award interpretation and compliance
  • Maintaining and updating payroll records and systems
  • Responding to payroll queries from employees and managers
  • Processing leave, superannuation, and statutory requirements
  • Assisting with month-end and reporting requirements
 
The Candidate
You’re a seasoned payroll professional who’s comfortable working in a high-volume environment and can step in with minimal handover. You will bring:
  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll
  • Confidence in manual calculations (this is non-negotiable)
  • Experience working in high-volume payroll environments
  • Strong system skills
  • Solid understanding of awards and payroll legislation
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to work at pace
