The Role
In this varied and highly valued role you will be sitting at the heart of the operation. You’ll work closely with customers, sales, warehouse, production and logistics teams to ensure orders run smoothly, customers stay informed and service levels remain high.
It’s perfect for someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment and likes being across all parts of the business. Your responsibilities will include
  • Be the go-to contact for customers via phone and email
  • Process orders accurately through the ERP system
  • Provide product information, pricing, lead times and updates
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production and freight teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Manage stock availability and monitor supply timelines
  • Keep customers updated on ETAs and order progress
  • Support the sales team with quotes, account setup and documentation
  • Resolve customer queries quickly and professionally
  • Build strong relationships with repeat customers and internal teams
The Candidate
The successful candidate may come from internal sales, sales support or order management within manufacturing, industrial, engineering or technical products. You’re organised, switched on and enjoy being busy. You like solving problems, helping customers and being the person others rely on when things need to happen. You want to be part of a business where you can make an impact.
You’ll bring:
  • Strong customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence dealing with customers over phone and email
  • Excellent attention to detail and order accuracy
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office
  • ERP system experience (Oracle or similar highly regarded)
  • Experience with parts interpretation, product matching or reading technical product information will be highly advantageous
