THE ROLE
Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will take on a senior position within the Accounts Receivable team, overseeing a large ledger of major corporate and government accounts. Acting as the 2IC, you’ll step up when the manager is away and ensure smooth operations across credit control, reconciliations, and account management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of high-value accounts across NSW.
- Handling daily banking, allocations, and reconciliations.
- Conducting debtor analysis, following up overdue invoices, and resolving queries.
- Calculating and processing rebates and refunds.
- Setting up new accounts and performing credit checks.
- Liaising with sales, warehouse, and management to resolve issues.
- Supporting the upcoming systems migration to Microsoft Dynamics.
THE CANDIDATE
We’re looking for an experienced, senior-level Accounts Receivable professional with strong credit control expertise. You’ll be confident managing large corporate and government ledgers, have excellent stakeholder management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience as a 2IC or stepping up into a leadership role will be highly regarded. Strong Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems are essential (experience with Exact or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous).
