The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will help managed a small team, responsible for the end-to-end management and financial reporting across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare and process financial accounts for financial reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and accounts information for executive management. Prepare all supporting working papers and schedules.
- Manage bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and provide analysis for profit & loss accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset schedule and management of capex – acquirement, depreciation and disposal.
- Preparation and lodgement of tax compliance: GST, BAS and FBT returns.
- Maintain all insurance requisites and claims.
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts and financial analysis.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Ability to work in the office 5 days per week
- CA or CPA qualified with relevant bachelor's degree
- 5-7+ years of experience in management and financial reporting
- Strong experience in management and financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Exposure to large ERP systems, and Microsoft D365 experience is ideal.
- Proficient user of MS Office and possesses Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
