The Position:
Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a hands-on and broad finance role where you’ll have full ownership of accounting and reporting functions. You’ll be a key business partner, providing financial insights while ensuring compliance and accuracy across all areas of finance.
- Ownership and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports
- Lead the month-end close process, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process with commercial insights
- Oversight of AP/AR and daily cash flow
- Manage all statutory compliance obligations, including BAS, GST, FBT, and corporate tax.
- Mentor and develop a Financial Accountant while collaborating closely with the AR team to strengthen capability.
- Being audit-ready and working closely with external auditors
- Driving continuous improvements across finance systems and processes
- Manage month-end close and deliver accurate P&L and balance sheet reports.
- Support business units with financial reporting.
- Assist with reporting for global stakeholders.
You’re a confident, commercially minded Senior Financial / Management Accountant who enjoys partnering with the business.
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in manufacturing, wholesale or FMCG preferred
- Advanced Excel and strong ERP systems exposure
- Great communicator with natural leadership qualities and a proactive mindset
- You’re curious, analytical, and ready to own it
- $130,000 - $140,000 + Super
- Be mentored by a supportive, experienced Finance Leader
- Wetherill Park - on-site parking
- WFH – 1 day after probation period
