As Human Resources Manager, you’ll be a trusted strategic partner to the leadership team, with the autonomy and influence to drive meaningful change. The Position:
Reporting directly to the Regional HR Director, this is a highly visible and influential role where you’ll help shape both the strategic direction and day-to-day success of the business. You’ll be empowered to drive initiatives that elevate performance, strengthen leadership capability, and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner closely with leaders to deliver a seamless, end-to-end employee experience, providing expert guidance across policies, processes, and people initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, offering coaching and practical solutions to navigate performance, conduct, and workplace matters
- Proactively manage complex employee issues, ensuring timely resolution while mitigating risk and protecting organisational integrity
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, engagement, and overall effectiveness
- Collaborate with leadership to shape workforce planning strategies, driving efficiency and supporting sustainable business growth
- Support the development of leadership capability through tailored coaching and the design and delivery of impactful learning initiatives
- Ensure accurate and compliant payroll practices
- Leverage HR systems and data insights to inform decision-making, track trends, and provide meaningful reporting and forecasts
- Contribute to clear and engaging internal communications that reinforce company values and keep teams aligned
- Build and nurture a strong talent pipeline, ensuring the organisation is well-positioned for future growth
- Take ownership of, or contribute to, key projects and strategic initiatives that support broader business objectives
The Candidate:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including experience guiding and developing at least one direct report
- Strong systems capability, with hands-on experience using HRIS platforms
- Exposure to a global organisation is advantageous, with an understanding of operating in a complex, matrixed environment
- A confident communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
- Highly self-directed, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within regional and global HR teams
- Resilient and adaptable, able to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills, with a proactive approach to managing deadlines
