The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a licensed electrician who loves variety, takes pride in their work, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Based out of Eastern Creek, Sydney, this is a field-based role where no two days are the same.
You’ll be the go-to expert across greater Sydney maintaining generator sets, solving faults, and keeping critical power systems running smoothly. Whether you’re working solo or teaming up with others, you'll be trusted to get the job done right the first time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Servicing diesel generators and hybrid power systems across customer sites
- Diagnosing electrical faults and fine-tuning equipment for peak performance
- Staying on top of scheduled maintenance and jumping on breakdowns when needed
- Logging your work clearly and keeping parts and paperwork in check
- Planning your day with support from the National Service Coordinator
- Keeping safety front and centre in everything you do
- Pitching in with the broader team when big jobs or remote projects come up
- A-Grade Electrical Licence (Australian recognised)
- 5+ years’ experience in power generation, electrical service, or similar
- Solid fault-finding skills and a calm, practical approach
- Confidence reading wiring diagrams and electrical/mechanical drawings
- First Aid, CPR, LVR certificates and a current driver’s licence
- A self-starting attitude — someone who works well independently but communicates like a pro
- High Voltage switching ticket
- Forklift licence
- Dual trade (electrical/mechanical)
- Diesel engine or hybrid system experience
- Tools of the trade provided no second-guessing if you’ve got the right gear
- Competitive Rates $57ph to $60ph plus super + optional overtime
